Pistons' Paul Reed: Back to bench
Reed will come off the bench for Sunday's Game 1 against the Magic, Eric Vincent of ClutchPoints.com reports.
This is an expected move with Jalen Duren healthy again. Reed was sharp in a spot start for the regular season finale with 26 points (11-11 FG, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks in 21 minutes.

Magic's Desmond Bane: Available for Game 1
Bane (illness) is listed as available for Sunday's Game 1 of the Eastern Conference first-round playoff series against the Pistons.
Bane was a non-participant in the Magic's morning shootaround while dealing with an illness, but he has been cleared to suit up for the start of Orlando's first-round series. The 27-year-old was spectacular in the Play-In Tournament loss to Philadelphia on Wednesday, erupting for 34 points on 10-for-16 shooting. With Orlando now starting their official playoff run against Detroit, Bane should step back into his usual heavy workload on the wing.

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Omitted from injury report
Duren (knee) isn't listed on the injury report for Sunday's Game 1 against the Magic.
Duren sat out Detroit's regular-season finale due to right knee injury management, though he's good to go for the start of the playoffs. The star big man averaged 19.4 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 0.6 blocks in 29.6 minutes per contest over five regular-season outings in April.

Magic's Jett Howard: Logs garbage time in play-in win
Howard played the final 5:43 of Friday's 121-90 win over the Hornets in the Play-In Tournament, finishing with three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one rebound.
Howard missed the final five games of the regular season due to a left ankle sprain before being cleared in advance of the Magic's first game of the Play-In Tournament on Wednesday. He didn't end up seeing any run in Wednesday's 109-97 loss to the 76ers but was able to see some minutes in garbage time Friday. Based on how he was used Wednesday and Friday, Howard doesn't look like he'll be a regular factor in the rotation during the Magic's upcoming first-round playoff series versus the Pistons.

Magic's Noah Penda: Garbage-time appearance
Penda contributed four points (2-2 FG) in six minutes during Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game win over the Hornets.
Penda took advantage of a lopsided result, suiting up for the first time in the past four games. Friday's victory sees the Magic moving on to face the Pistons in the first round of the playoffs. Penda is unlikely to see any playing time in the series outside of blowout scenarios.

Magic's Jalen Suggs: Serviceable effort in win
Suggs recorded 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt), five rebounds, six assists and one block in 22 minutes before fouling out of Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game victory over the Hornets.
Suggs logged modest playing time as Orlando easily accounted for Charlotte, advancing to the first round of the playoffs to face the Pistons. Although Suggs' production was somewhat muted, his impact on the defensive end of the floor was undeniable. He continues to provide Orlando with energy on both ends and will need to be at his best for the Magic to have a chance of pulling off a first-round upset.

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Delivers 14 dimes Sunday
Cunningham provided seven points (3-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt), eight rebounds and 14 assists across 22 minutes during Sunday's 133-121 win over the Pacers.
Despite having very little to play for, Detroit opted to play the majority of its roster, including Cunningham, who still managed to hand out a team-high 14 assists. Having recently returned from a collapsed lung, it appears as though Cunningham is ready to go for the playoffs, having played 25.3 minutes per game in his past three appearances since getting back on the floor.
