CJ Ravenell TEN DE
C.J. Ravenell: Cut by Titans
16h agoTennessee waived Ravenell (undisclosed) from injured reserve on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Ravenell had been cut with an undisclosed injury designation back in June and then reverted to IR. The 25-year-old defensive end suited up for 14 regular-season games with the Titans in 2025, totaling six tackles (one solo) and one forced fumble.

Tyler Loop BAL K
Ravens' Tyler Loop: Still has confidence of team
17h agoRavens coach Jesse Minter said in June that the team remains confident in Loop, who was the only kicker on the roster for offseason practices, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.
A 2025 sixth-round pick, Loop missed just four field-goal attempts and two PATs as a rookie, but his season was ultimately remembered for a last-second shank that cost Baltimore a playoff spot. He also went just 1-for-4 on kicks of 50-plus yards, unable to make an impact from long range despite boasting plenty of leg strength. While the Ravens still have time to bring in competition before Week 1, they clearly intend for Loop to handle the placekicking work if he doesn't faceplant during training camp and the preseason.

Cooper Kupp SEA WR
Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Back for Year 2 with Seattle
19h agoAs the coming season approaches, Kupp is line to reprise a key role in a Seahawks wide receiver corps led by reigning Offensive Player of the Year Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Justin Melo of USA Today reports.
Smith-Njigba led the NFL with 1,793 receiving yards in 17 regular-season games last season, with Kupp finishing a distant second on the team in that category with 593 yards (on 47 catches) through 16 contests. Those marks were well off the volume/production level that made Kupp a high-rated fantasy option earlier in his career, but looking ahead, the 33-year-old should maintain enough of a complementary role behind Smith-Njigba (in a Seattle passing game that also features fellow WR Rashid Shaheed and TE AJ Barner) to merit lineup consideration in deeper fantasy formats.

Terrell Jennings NE RB
Patriots' Terrell Jennings: In mix for No. 3 role
21h agoJennings will enter training camp as a candidate to secure the No. 3 running back role behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson, Mike Reiss of ESPN reports.
Jennings was limited to seven regular-season appearances in 2025 due to a combination of a concussion and hamstring injury, but he looked fully healthy during spring activities this offseason and worked with the first-team punt protection team. The third-year pro's ability to contribute on special teams will give him a clear path to a roster spot, and at 6-foot-0, 220-pounds, he has the size necessary to carve out a reserve role on offense. In addition to Jenning, competitors for the No. 3 spot behind Stevenson and Henderson are rookie seventh-round pick Jam Miller and Lan Larison.

Daniel Bellinger TEN TE
Titans' Daniel Bellinger: Facing opportunity
21h agoBellinger is poised to enter training camp with a chance to carve out a meaningful role in the Titans' offense, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Bellinger spent the last four seasons playing under offensive coordinator Brian Daboll with the Giants, making him one of Tennessee's most familiar additions to the new offensive scheme. While 2025 fourth-rounder Gunnar Helm is expected to handle plenty of receiving work following the departure of Chig Okonkwo (now with the Commanders), Bellinger's blocking ability makes him a natural fit for the heavier personnel packages Daboll is expected to employ. That familiarity, combined with the vacancy created by Okonkwo's departure, gives the 25-year-old a legitimate chance to earn consistent snaps with the Titans.

Michael Mayer LV TE
Raiders' Michael Mayer: Could benefit from two-TE offense
22h agoMayer is poised for a complementary role behind Brock Bowers in head coach Klint Kubiak's offense, which is expected to feature frequent two-tight end formations, Sam Warren of The Athletic reports.
Mayer enters the final year of his rookie contract with an opportunity to carve out the biggest role of his NFL career, per Jared Feinberg of SI.com. While Bowers remains the focal point of the passing game for new quarterbacks Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza, Mayer's combination of in-line blocking and reliable short-area receiving makes him an ideal fit for Kubiak's outside-zone scheme and heavy personnel packages. If Las Vegas leans into an approach heavy on 12 personnel, Mayer could see consistent enough snaps to surpass the career-best 35-328-1 receiving line he recorded while suiting up for 13 regular-season games last year.

Jose Altuve HOU 2B
Astros' Jose Altuve: Homers Monday
38m agoAltuve went 1-for-5 with a three-run homer in Monday's 12-11 loss to the Nationals.
Altuve put the Astros ahead 4-1in the second inning with a three-run, two-out blast off Miles Mikolas. It's Altuve's ninth long ball this season and his first since June 19. The veteran second baseman has gone 4-for-11 with three extra-base hits in his last three games following a 4-for-31 (.129) slump across his prior eight contests. Overall, Altuve is slashing .235/.312/.394 with 42 runs scored, 25 RBI and two stolen bases across 296 plate appearances this year.
-
Cole Carrigg COL CF
Rockies' Cole Carrigg: Continues to impress
4h agoCarrigg went 3-for-5 with two doubles, three runs and two RBI in an extra-innings loss to the Dodgers on Monday.
Carrigg showed no signs of intimidation in his first career game against the reigning back-to-back champs, as he logged his first MLB three-hit performance. The talented rookie also came through in the clutch, clubbing a two-run double with two outs in the top of the ninth inning off Dodgers closer Tanner Scott to tie the score. Carrigg has been outstanding as a big-leaguer so far, slashing .309/.385/.593 with four home runs, five doubles, three triples, 21 runs, 21 RBI, two stolen bases and an 11:19 BB:K through 25 games.
-
Dalton Rushing LAD C
Dodgers' Dalton Rushing: Walks it off for Los Angeles
4h agoRushing went 3-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI in an 11-inning, 8-7 win against the Rockies on Monday.
Rushing doubled and scored in his first two at-bats, but his most memorable hit of the night was an eleventh-inning single that plated the game-winning run for the Dodgers. The backstop has tallied multiple hits nine times this season, and he's recorded three-plus hits on four of those occasions. Rushing is holding down the fort quite well in the absence of Will Smith (neck), as on the campaign he's slashing .269/347/.503 with 10 home runs, 10 doubles, 30 runs and 30 RBI through 193 plate appearances.
-
Shohei Ohtani LAD DH
Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Knocks in four runs Monday
4h agoOhtani went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and four total RBI in an 8-7 extra-innings win against the Rockies on Monday.
Ohtani kicked off the scoring for Los Angeles with a two-run blast in the third inning. He added a two-run single in the fourth to log his first game with four-plus RBI since May 16. Ohtani tied his season high with three hits, a mark he's reached seven times so far this season. Hitting-wise, he's not putting up the jaw-dropping numbers of his first two campaigns with Los Angeles, but Ohtani has still been one of the league's best hitters, posting a .944 OPS (third-best in MLB) along with 19 home runs, 55 RBI, 61 runs and six stolen bases through 87 contests.
-
Kyle Freeland COL SP
Rockies' Kyle Freeland: Drilled by Dodgers
4h agoFreeland allowed six runs on nine hits and no walks while striking out two batters over five innings in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Monday.
Freeland kept Los Angeles out of the scoring column for two frames until Shohei Ohtani tagged him for a two-run homer in the third. That began a rough stretch for the left-handed hurler, who gave up four more runs on five hits in the fourth. Freeland departed after five innings in line for the loss, but a late Colorado rally took him off the hook. Nonetheless, it was the third time across Freeland's past five starts that he's surrendered six runs, and he's posted an ugly 6.83 ERA with a 1.45 WHIP despite a sterling 25:2 K:BB over that span.
-
Tanner Scott LAD RP
Dodgers' Tanner Scott: Can't convert save Monday
4h agoScott blew a save against the Rockies on Monday, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out two batters over one inning.
It wasn't a particularly intimidating situation for Scott, who entered in the ninth inning with Los Angeles holding a three-run lead against the team with the second-worst record in the majors. Still, the veteran lefty was unable to put Colorado away, giving up a trio of runs on two doubles, a single and two walks (one of which was intentional). It could have been even worse for Scott, but replay overturned a play at the plate on what was initially ruled the go-ahead run for the Rockies. The blowup followed a strong stretch during which Scott converted seven straight save opportunities while posting a 1.64 ERA and 17:0 K:BB over 11 innings spanning 12 appearances. With that in mind, he should remain Los Angeles' primary closer for the time being, though that will likely change when Edwin Diaz (elbow) returns, which is expected to happen shortly after the All-Star break.

Nate Ament MIL PF
Bucks' Nate Ament: Doesn't play Monday
8h agoAment (undisclosed) didn't play in Monday's 95-89 California Classic Summer League loss to the Kings.
The Bucks' trade with the Heat involving Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) and Ament was made official Monday, though the latter didn't suit up for Milwaukee in its California Classic finale. His next opportunity to make his Summer League debut will come in the Bucks' Las Vegas Summer League opener against the Heat on Friday.
-
Cormac Ryan MIL SG
Bucks' Cormac Ryan: Doesn't play Monday
8h agoRyan (undisclosed) did not play in Monday's 95-89 California Classic Summer League loss to the Kings.
Ryan missed a second consecutive California Classic game after scoring 13 points in 18 minutes during Saturday's contest against Warriors Blue. His next chance to suit up comes Friday against the Heat in the Bucks' Las Vegas Summer League opener.

Darius Acuff Jr. SAC PG
Kings' Darius Acuff: Scores 22 in SL win
8h agoAcuff posted 22 points (7-19 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal in 28 minutes during Monday's 95-89 California Classic Summer League win over the Bucks.
Acuff put together another high-volume scoring display, logging his second 20-plus-point performance in as many California Classic appearances. Over those two games, he averaged 23.5 points, 3.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks in 29.0 minutes per contest. One area of intrigue from Monday's game was his performance on the defensive end, as he contributed two blocks and a steal.
-
Bogoljub Markovic MIL PF
Bucks' Bogoljub Markovic: Solid all-around effort in SL loss
9h agoMarkovic amassed 10 points (4-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks across 28 minutes in Monday's 95-89 California Classic Summer League loss to the Kings.
Markovic struggled from beyond the arc once again, though he still scored in double figures and was one of four Milwaukee players to do so. The 20-year-old big man also showcased his passing and rebounding abilities, leading the Bucks in both rebounds and assists. Additionally, he filled up the stat sheet on the defensive end, closing as one of three Bucks players with four combined steals-plus-blocks.
-
Brayden Burries MIL SG
Bucks' Brayden Burries: Scores 12 points in SL debut
9h agoBurries tallied 12 points (3-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 16 minutes in Monday's 95-89 California Classic Summer League loss to the Kings.
Burries missed the Bucks' first two California Classic outings but made his Summer League debut Monday, albeit while playing limited minutes. The No. 10 overall pick in this year's draft had a forgettable night from beyond the arc but still finished as Milwaukee's third-leading scorer. Burries and the Bucks will now turn their attention toward the Las Vegas Summer League, where they'll open play against the Heat on Friday.
-
Tre Donaldson MIA PG
Heat's Tre Donaldson: Well-rounded outing in SL win
9h agoDonaldson generated 15 points (6-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-3 FT), six assists, five rebounds and three steals across 30 minutes in Monday's 95-85 California Classic Summer League win over Warriors Gold.
Donaldson moved into the starting lineup Monday and struggled with efficiency, though he still finished as Miami's third-leading scorer while delivering a solid all-around performance. The 22-year-old point guard, who signed a two-way pact with the Heat after going undrafted this year, also led the team in assists and steals. He scored in double figures in two of his three California Classic appearances, dishing out at least four assists in two outings as well.

Jacob Quillan TOR C
Maple Leafs' Jacob Quillan: Pens two-way deal Monday
13h agoQuillan inked a one-year, two-way contract with Toronto on Monday, according to PuckPedia.
Quillan appeared in 23 games with the Maple Leafs in 2025-26, chipping in a goal, two assists and 46 hits while averaging 10:16 of ice time. The 24-year-old was much more productive with the Marlies en route to their Calder Cup championship, earning 14 goals, 36 points and a plus-12 rating over 40 regular-season games. He also had three goals and six helpers over 19 playoff games in the minors. Quillan will contend for an Opening Night roster spot with the big club in training camp ahead of the 2026-27 season.
-
Lukas Cormier LV D
Golden Knights' Lukas Cormier: Inks one-year deal
16h agoCormier signed a one-year contract with the Golden Knights on Monday.
Per PuckPedia, it's a two-way deal. Cormier earned his newest contract after the strongest offensive campaign of his AHL career. Across 49 regular-season games with AHL Henderson, the 24-year-old blueliner compiled eight goals, 39 assists and 121 shots on net. He produced when it mattered as well, adding five points in six postseason appearances. White he's yet to play regular minutes at the NHL level, he'll return to Vegas' system as one of the top defensive options to be called up if the Golden Knights run into injury problems. He has one assist over two career NHL games, which came back in 2023-24.
-
Drew Commesso CHI G
Blackhawks' Drew Commesso: Signs two-year deal
16h agoCommesso signed a two-year, $1.75 million contract with Chicago on Monday, per PuckPedia.
Commesso has a two-way deal with the Blackhawks for 2026-27, and it becomes a one-way agreement in 2027-28. In three NHL outings with Chicago last year, he posted a 2-1-0 record while allowing only seven goals on 85 shots. Commesso also went 13-20-2 with a 3.08 GAA and a .901 in 37 appearances for AHL Rockford in the 2025-26 regular season. The 23-year-old netminder will probably begin the 2026-27 campaign in the minors.
-
William Trudeau NYR D
Rangers' William Trudeau: Signs two-way contract
16h agoTrudeau signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Rangers on Monday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.
Trudeau was traded to the Rangers from the Canadiens on June 26, and he reached an agreement on a two-way deal with his new club just over a week later. He's spent the past four seasons with AHL Laval, and it seems likely that he'll spend most of his time in the minors once again during the 2026-27 campaign.
-
Kyle Burroughs LA D
Stars' Kyle Burroughs: Lands one-year agreement
17h agoBurroughs signed a one-year, two-way contract with Dallas on Monday.
Burroughs had one goal and six assists in 18 regular-season appearances for AHL Ontario in 2025-26. He will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2026-27 campaign with AHL Texas.
-
Justin Barron NSH D

18h agoBarron signed a one-year, $1.575 million contract with Nashville on Monday.
