Packers' Luke Lachey: Claimed by Green Bay
5h agoThe Packers claimed Lachey off waivers Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Lachey is headed to Green Bay after having been waived by the Texans on Monday. The 24-year-old will look to earn a spot on the Packers' final roster and make his regular-season debut during the upcoming campaign.
-
Deuce Vaughn DEN RB
Deuce Vaughn: Let go by Denver
6h agoThe Broncos waived Vaughn on Tuesday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Vaughn's time in Denver has come to an end after having signed a reserve/future contract with the team in January. The 24-year-old has 110 career rushing yards on 40 carries to go along with 10 catches for 58 yards and will now look to catch on with another team.
-
Thomas Yassmin LAC TE
Thomas Yassmin: Dropped by Chargers
6h agoThe Chargers waived Yassmin on Tuesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Yassmin is headed to waivers after spending the 2025 campaign on the Chargers' practice squad. The 26-year-old will look to find another opportunity with a new team and make his regular-season debut during the 2026 season.
-
Tanner McLachlan LAC TE
Tanner McLachlan: Waived by Chargers
6h agoThe Chargers waived McLachlan on Tuesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
McLachlan spent time on the Chargers' practice squad late last season but was never elevated to the active roster. The 27-year-old last appeared in an NFL game during the 2024 season with the Bengals, and he will look to join a new team ahead of the upcoming campaign.
-
Le'Veon Moss MIA RB
Dolphins' Le'Veon Moss: Announces retirement
6h agoThe Dolphins placed Moss on the reserve/retired list Tuesday.
Moss' short NFL career has come to an end, as he'd had just joined the team as an undrafted free agent last month. He spent his collegiate career at Texas A&M, carrying the ball 321 times for 1,767 yards and 22 touchdowns across four seasons with the Aggies.
-
Miles Kitselman 2005 TE
Lions' Miles Kitselman: Joining Lions
6h agoThe Lions signed Kitselman as an undrafted free agent Tuesday.
Kitselman spent the 2025 season with Tennessee, where he caught 26 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns. He will look to compete for a depth spot on Detroit's roster and could be a candidate to land on their practice squad.
-
Ezequiel Duran TEX SS
Rangers' Ezequiel Duran: Clubs homer in victory
1h agoDuran went 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, three total runs and two total RBI in a 7-4 win over Arizona on Tuesday.
Duran's first RBI came on a solo homer in the fourth inning, and he added a run-scoring infield single in the fifth. The utility man has settled into a regular role as the Rangers' starting second baseman in the absence of Josh Smith (wrist/lower body). Smith hadn't been hitting well prior to his injury, while Duran is slashing a strong .296/.369/.480 on the season, so the latter may retain the starting job at the keystone even after Smith returns.
-
Shohei Ohtani LAD DH
Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Homers in loss
1h agoOhtani went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and a second run scored in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Giants.
Ohtani was the only Dodger to log multiple hits in this contest. This ended a run of 11 games without a long ball for the superstar. He has just three multi-hit efforts -- and more notably, seven hitless games -- over his last 12 contests, going 9-for-47 (.191) in that span. Overall, he's batting .240 with a .797 OPS, seven homers, 17 RBI, 27 runs scored, seven doubles and five stolen bases across 42 games as a hitter this season. Ohtani is scheduled to pitch Wednesday, but he will be getting a day off from hitting either Wednesday or Thursday, so fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on the Dodgers' lineup cards in the coming days.
-
Zac Gallen ARI SP
Diamondbacks' Zac Gallen: Surrenders seven runs in loss
1h agoGallen (1-4) took the loss against Texas on Tuesday, tossing 4.2 innings during which he allowed seven runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four batters.
Gallen struggled from the outset, serving up a solo homer to Joc Pederson in the first inning. He trailed 3-0 entering the fifth, then got just two outs in that frame while being charged with four more runs. Gallen managed just six whiffs among his 95 pitches and has now given up a combined 17 runs over his past three starts spanning 14.1 innings. That has pushed his season ERA up to an ugly 5.65.
-
Yoshinobu Yamamoto LAD SP
Dodgers' Yoshinobu Yamamoto: Yields three homers in loss
1h agoYamamoto (3-3) allowed five runs on six hits and struck out eight without walking a batter over 6.1 innings to take the loss Tuesday versus the Giants.
Yamamoto's line could have been worse, but all three homers against him were solo shots. He gave up just 14 long balls over 173.2 regular-season innings last year, but opponents are having more success against him in 2026 with eight homers across 50 innings this year. The star right-hander is at a 3.60 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 48:10 K:BB through eight starts, and he's given up at least three runs in each of his last four outings. Yamamoto will look to get back on track in a tough road matchup versus the Padres next week.
-
Reed Trimble BAL LF
Orioles' Reed Trimble: Homers in return
1h agoTriple-A Norfolk activated Trimble (hamstring) from the 7-day injured list Tuesday.
Trimble wound up missing a bit over a month of action due to right hamstring discomfort, but he's back in action for Norfolk following a seven-game rehab assignment with the Single-A and High-A clubs. The 25-year-old outfielder made a splash in his return to the Triple-A level Tuesday, blasting a three-run homer in his second game with the Tides this year.
-
Jacob Latz TEX RP
Rangers' Jacob Latz: Records fifth save
1h agoLatz earned a save against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday by retiring all three batters he faced in the ninth inning.
Latz didn't look like he would get a chance to close with Texas leading 7-1 entering the ninth. However, Gavin Collyer failed to register an out while walking three batters and giving up a single, so Latz was called upon to put out the flames. The lefty allowed a pair of inherited runners to score but did his job successfully, getting three outs on 12 pitches. He seems to have settled in as the Rangers' closer, collecting a save in five of his past six appearances while posting a minuscule 0.83 ERA and 0.42 WHIP along with a 17:4 K:BB across 21.2 frames on the campaign.
-
Dylan Harper SA PG
Spurs' Dylan Harper: Double-doubles in Game 5 win
3h agoHarper recorded 12 points (5-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 25 minutes during Tuesday's 126-97 victory over Minnesota in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Harper was cleared to play ahead of tipoff after being a late addition to the injury report Tuesday afternoon due to left knee soreness. The rookie first-rounder provided a well-rounded line off the bench in the pivotal win, finishing as one of six Spurs players to score in double figures while ranking second on the team in rebounds. He'll look to continue providing a spark off the bench in Friday's Game 6 as the Spurs aim to close out the series in Minnesota.
-
De'Aaron Fox SA PG
Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Scores 18 points in win
3h agoFox provided 18 points (6-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five assists and four rebounds across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 126-97 win over the Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Fox shook off his questionable tag due to right ankle soreness to suit up Tuesday, though he struggled with efficiency in this one. Still, he finished as the Spurs' third-leading scorer and dished out at least five assists for the third time in five second-round games. However, the 28-year-old point guard's struggles from beyond the arc continued, as he has now shot just 18.8 percent from deep over the last three games.
-
Keldon Johnson SA SF
Spurs' Keldon Johnson: Paces bench in Game 5 win
4h agoJohnson logged 21 points (8-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), two rebounds, two steals and one block in 22 minutes during Tuesday's 126-97 victory over the Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Johnson turned in his best offensive performance of the postseason, delivering an efficient showing from inside the arc while leading the San Antonio bench in scoring. The 2025-26 Sixth Man of the Year had averaged just 8.8 points on 41.4 percent shooting in the series entering Tuesday's contest, making his efficiency in this one extremely encouraging. He'll aim to remain productive in Game 6 on Friday, when the Spurs try to close out the series.
-
Rudy Gobert MIN C
Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Struggles in Game 5 loss
4h agoGobert logged four points (1-4 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two steals and one block across 23 minutes during Tuesday's 126-97 loss to San Antonio in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
After scoring in double figures in back-to-back games, Gobert struggled offensively Tuesday and played a series-low 23 minutes. The veteran center also failed to make much of an impact on the glass, matching his season low in rebounds across the regular season and playoffs. The Timberwolves will likely need the big man to bounce back in Game 6 on Friday if they hope to keep their season alive.
-
Julius Randle MIN PF
Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Double-doubles in defeat
4h agoRandle accumulated 17 points (6-17 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 126-97 loss to the Spurs in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Randle struggled from three-point range but was still one of four Minnesota players to score at least 16 points. He has shot just 21.1 percent from downtown through five first-round games and has been held to just 12 points in three of them. Still, the veteran forward led the Timberwolves in rebounds Tuesday, securing his second double-double of the postseason.
-
Anthony Edwards MIN SG
Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Strikes for 20 points in loss
4h agoEdwards ended Tuesday's 126-97 loss to the Spurs in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 20 points (6-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT), two rebounds and two assists across 39 minutes.
Edwards didn't offer much in terms of peripheral numbers but still led the Timberwolves in scoring. He has reached the 20-point threshold in three consecutive contests, posting at least 32 points in the first two games of that stretch. The superstar guard will aim to deliver a more well-rounded performance in Game 6 on Friday as the Timberwolves attempt to stave off elimination at home.
-
Mason McTavish ANA C
Ducks' Mason McTavish: Supplies two helpers in Game 5
7m agoMcTavish notched two assists, including one on the power play, and added six shots on net and three hits in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights in Game 5.
McTavish has been back in the lineup for the last two games after getting scratched twice earlier in this second-round series. This was his first multi-point effort of the postseason. The 23-year-old has a goal, five assists, 23 shots on net, 22 hits and a plus-2 rating over nine appearances. McTavish may be needed to slide over to center if Ryan Poehling (upper body) misses time following his early exit Tuesday.
-
Cutter Gauthier ANA LW
Ducks' Cutter Gauthier: Adds two more helpers
9m agoGauthier notched two assists, including one on the power play, and added four shots on goal and two hits in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights in Game 5.
Gauthier's known for his shooting, but he's showing off his playmaking with five helpers over his last two games. The 22-year-old winger set up goals by Beckett Sennecke and Olen Zellweger in this contest. Gauthier is up to four goals, eight assists, 37 shots on net, 34 hits and a minus-1 rating over 11 contests this postseason. The intensity of the playoffs hasn't been too much for him, which is a good sign for his status as a core piece of the Ducks' lineup going forward.
-
Olen Zellweger ANA D
Ducks' Olen Zellweger: Forces overtime Tuesday
12m agoZellweger scored a goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights in Game 5.
Zellweger has a goal and an assist over his first two playoff outings. He's added three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating. The 22-year-old defenseman is filling in as a bottom-four option for now, but he's making a decent case to stay in the lineup for Game 6, which is a must-win situation for the Ducks to keep their season going.
-
Beckett Sennecke ANA RW
Ducks' Beckett Sennecke: Goal streak at four games
14m agoSennecke scored a power-play goal on four shots and added three hits in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights in Game 5.
Sennecke has scored in four straight games, and his last two goals have come on the power play. The winger opened the scoring at 12:36 of the first period in this contest, but the Ducks didn't maintain the lead for long. Sennecke is now at five goals, one assist, 29 shots on net, 15 hits and a minus-5 rating over 11 playoff outings.
-
Lukas Dostal ANA G
Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Loses Game 5 in overtime
15m agoDostal stopped 29 of 32 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights in Game 5.
Dostal was able to keep things close throughout regulation, but the Ducks hardly had any possession in a brief overtime period. Pavel Dorofeyev scored 4:10 into the extra session to give the Golden Knights the pivotal win, which means Dostal and the Ducks will be staring down elimination on home ice in Game 6 on Thursday. Dostal is now 6-5 this postseason with a 3.36 GAA and an .878 save percentage, and he's allowed three goals in each of the last three games.
-
Rasmus Andersson LV D
Golden Knights' Rasmus Andersson: Gathers helper in Game 5 win
18m agoAndersson logged an assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Ducks in Game 5.
This was just the second assist over 11 playoff games for Andersson. The defenseman has filled a regular top-four role with power-play time, but the offense hasn't come for him. He's added 20 shots on net, 19 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-1 rating this postseason. Prior to this postseason, he had earned 14 points across 27 playoff games in three runs with the Flames.
